SUITABILITY
It is best to avoid facials if you have open wounds, sunburn, severe eczema or psoriasis. If you use acne medicine it is advised to ask your doctor before getting a facial, as it may cause the skin to be extra sensitive or thinned out.

To ensure maximum results, we would advise against applying foundation or blush as pores have just been cleaned.
Most clients come in for monthly maintenance facial treatments. However, if your skin needs more attention, we recommend a personalised regime which may be 2-3 facials a month initially to re-balance your skin before continuing to a monthly facial.
Your skin health is directly connected to your lifestyle – diet, exercise, environment, stress, sun exposure and amount of sleep. Our facialists can assess your current beauty regime and recommend a personalised home care routine to ensure healthy skin is maintained after your facial.
It’s best to avoid activities that will increase your body temperature for at least a few days to have longer lasting results. Hence, avoid sun-tanning, intense workouts, the sauna and swimming for a few days.
