& COMFORT
Yes, it is a safe treatment that uses ultrasound, an energy source that has been used in medical treatments for over 50 years. Some clients experience slight swelling, redness or tenderness, which should resolve within 2-7 days.
Depending on your level of pain tolerance, HIFU can feel uncomfortable. Clients with metal fillings or braces on their teeth may feel more sting around the jaw. Following treatment, it is normal to feel sore or slightly achy, especially around the bony areas.
Ulfit provides a 2-in-1 face-lifting system that’s faster, more targeted, safer and significantly more comfortable than other machines on the market. Ulfit’s applicators send powerful ultrasound shots quicker, resulting in less pain and better results.
As a precaution, we advise customers to avoid any activities or treatments that could increase your skin’s temperature for at least 2 days. It’s best to wait at least 72 hours before scheduling a laser or waxing treatment.
As a precaution, we strongly advise customers to halt or avoid any injectables. These will interfere and possibly harm if they are used during a HIFU package.
Ultimately, injectables are no longer needed as HIFU’s results are just as effective, have instant benefits and best of all, is completely natural looking.
RESULTS
HIFU is extremely effective in targeting the jowls (jawline), under eyes, cheeks, forehead, eyebrows and neck. What’s more, HIFU can be used to slim the body in areas such as the tummy, love handles, arms, legs and back.
You will begin to notice immediate improvement in the first treatment. Saggy skin will appear lifted, firmer and feel smoother too. Results continue in the following 2-3 months, as collagen continues to regenerate under the surface with its peak results around 3 months after the treatment.
HIFU is extremely efficient. You can be in and out over your lunch break. A total face and neck treatment can take about 1 hour.
After a personal consultation, the therapist uses the hand-held applicator to apply sound waves deep into your foundational SMAS layer. Almost like an electric current, HIFU feels like a warm pulsing sensation. There might be some sensitivity near your jaw and neck, where it’s closer to the bone.
Even though the results can be seen in just 1 session, it will fade within weeks or months. Hence, most clients will need at least 4 sessions (1 per month) for longer lasting results that last up to 2 years. Some may need extra sessions, depending on their initial condition, response to the treatment and the speed of their collagen production.
HIFU targets multiple depths of the skin down to the muscles which is ideal for those who want a face lift, tightened skin, reduced fat and rebuild of the face shape and contour.
Ultra Face 360 is ideal for those who wish to reduce deep wrinkles, creases, eye bags and pore size as well as smooth skin tone. Both can be done concurrently to compliment and get optimal results, however it is advised that each treatment is performed on separate areas of the face. (eg. SUITABILITY
HIFU is ideal for customers who are between 25 and 70 years old.
However, the treatment is not suitable for those with the following conditions:
– open wounds, severe acne or lesions on the face,
– pregnant or breastfeeding,
– have any metal stents/implants in area,
– bio-absorbable mechanical implants, implantable electrical devices,
– active systemic or local skin disease that affect wound healing
– heart disease, hypersensitiveness, hypertrophic scarring, hemostatic dysfunction, herpes simplex, autoimmune diseases, diabetes or epilepsy, or anticoagulant (blood thinners).
PREPARATION
& AFTERCARE
We suggest that you let your skin cool down before applying any makeup. In the meantime, application of SPF35+ sunblock every 2 hours, is advised to protect your just-treated-skin.
Most HIFU treatments will see peak results after 3 months, and can last up to 2 years with an appropriate therapy schedule. HIFU is not a permanent solution as we are continually aging. After 2 years, we recommend starting a new course of HIFU treatments.
Other than taking off all metal jewelry; no preparation is required before a HIFU treatment. However, you will need to alert the therapist if you have any skin conditions, any metal fillings or braces or any other medical conditions.
Due to HIFU’s deep penetration of the skin, we also advise customers to avoid beauty treatments that include ultrasound, radiofrequency, injections and laser.
Since HIFU heats up the deepest layer of your skin to encourage collagen production, it’s important to avoid the sun or any activity that could irritate skin for at least 2 days. We highly recommend using SPF35 or higher every 2 hours, and keep your skin moisturised with anti-aging products, avoiding glycolic or deep-cleansing products.
